VINOWA means the marriage of VINO(Wine) and Wa (something Japanese, Japan, Harmony, Balance). Our company is dedicated to introduce premium rice wine, true Japanese Saké to Europe, imported straight out of breweries in Japan.

Unlike common image European people have on Saké today, as hard liquor which is served at the end of meal in Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant, Saké is fermented from specially developed rice, "Sakamai", and water by brew masters called toji. It is served like wine, can be dry or sweet, heavy or light, yet the brewing process of Saké is much more complex than that employed for wine.

In the normal wine production process, the crushed grapes ferment naturally after yeast is added. However the Saké brewing begins with lots of preparation before actually getting started to the fermentation process. Please check the brewing process introduced in "ABOUT SAKÉ" section.

We will be very much happy assisting you in any way to understand and appreciate our premium Japanese rice wine better. If you have never experienced true Japanese Saké yet, you can simply contact VINOWA to start enjoying the amazing world of Saké today!
